Iman Shumpert is another notable name on the move ahead of this season's trade deadline. The Cavs receive Brandon Knight, Marquese Chriss and a protected first-round pick from Houston in the trade, according to terms reported by Shams Charania and Adrian Wojnarowski. The Cavaliers acquired these two players in Sunday's trade with Portland that sent Rodney Hood to the Trail Blazers. Additionally, the Cavs will send Alec Burks to the Kings, and guards Nik Stauskas and Wade Baldwin to the Rockets. He started 40 games for the Kings this season, averaging 8.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per game for the team.

The Kings acquire a scoring option off the bench in Burks that could figure into the rotation as they look to make a playoff push. He's scrappy. He gets after it.

Rockets star James Harden is also excited to have Shumpert on the team because of his ability to play all over the court. Over his seven-year National Basketball Association career, he has played in 394 games (320 starts) with Detroit, Milwaukee, Phoenix and Houston, holding averages of 14.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 30.6 minutes per game.

"Shump is a vet who can help us - defensively, ballhandling, shooting", he said.

Barnes, 26, was on the court for the Mavericks as trade reports surfaced Wednesday night. "I like to think that he had the chemistry [on] point, him and JJ [Justin Jackson]".
