  • Meghan Markle’s bodyguard to quit after less than a year

Journalist, Emily Nash, shared the news on Twitter, as she wrote: "Meghan has told wellwishers in Birkenhead that she is six months pregnant - due end of April/beginning of May!"

She also said that since Meghan is very close to Serena Williams and Bollywood's Desi Girl, Priyanka Chopra, so they may also be considered for the role. Fortunately for them, Meghan Markle chose to answer that question while greeting the crowds in Birkenhead, England earlier today.

The duchess stood out in a bright red coat over a purple dress.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Birkenhead to celebrate the life of one of the town's most famous sons - the acclaimed First World War poet Wilfred Owen.

The bronze artwork by sculptor Jim Whelan has been named after Owen's poem Futility and shows an exhausted solider sat down with his head in his hands.

For the latest outing, a heavily pregnant Meghan stepped out in a vibrant red coat from Canadian brand Sentaler.

Plenty of well-wishers came out to greet the duchess in Birkenhead.

Mum-to-be Meghan was spotted just last week showing off her baby bump during a visit to a charity called Smart Works. "She said, 'One day at a time!'".

Meghan has a lot going on for someone who is six months pregnant.

Insiders have predicted that, rather than opting for the traditional royal favorite Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London for her delivery, Meghan and Harry are instead considering Frimley Park hospital in Surrey, south of London. Initially established in 2011 to support women released from prison, Tomorrow's Women now offers a range of training courses and workshops for more than 6000 local women in vulnerable circumstances due to mental health issues, domestic abuse and addiction, the palace said.

They ended their visit at the Hive Wirral Youth Zone, run by the charity OnSide Youth Zones.
