What could Kareem Hunt'sfeatured interview on Sunday revealed about that night in February, when security camera footage showed him barreling over a woman and kicking her on the ground in a Cleveland hotel, that would change your mind one way or the other? The woman fell down not because Hunt pushed her down, but because Hunt pushed his friend who in turned bumped into her.
The Kansas City Chiefs announced they were cutting ties with Hunt on Friday, after the video of the incident was published by TMZ. Nearly immediately, TMZ reported, the Chiefs sent Hunt home early from a practice.
"I want to tell her that I am sorry for my actions that night", Hunt said. "I'm going to take the time to better myself, learn from this, get some help if needed, talk to people and really just take this really serious".
National Football League player Kareem Hunt has said he was "in the wrong" for this actions in his first public comments since the release of a video which appeared to show the former Kansas City Chiefs running back kicking a woman last February.
The statement did not say whether the league attempted to contact Hunt.

However, a 19-year-old woman named Abigail Ottinger has alleged that Hunt has assaulted her around 3:45 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Metropolitan Hotel.

Hunt remains on the exempt list, which means a team could sign him but he would be unable to play or attend games until the league's investigation is complete.
Sources said the Hunt is facing more than the average six-game suspension given the two separate incidents.
Hunt's punishment could come even though he may not face charges from either incident.
"I'm asking for forgiveness. And I know that's where I masked a lot of my problems". With that said, the unnamed victim still has 18-months to bring her case to the Prosecutor's Office, before the motion expires.
