Sharing the aerial video she had filmed earlier on her Instagram Stories, Kim explained to fans she was evacuating and asked them to "pray for Calabasas".

Some 250,000 residents in Los Angeles and Ventura counties have been evacuated with firefighters still unable to contain the blaze. Kim revealed in her Instagram stories that she had just one hour to pack up before leaving her Calabasas home. "Thank you all for your concern", she stated.

It had scorched at least 20,000 acres, engulfing several homes and threatening as many as 1,000 other structures, according to Cal Fire officials.

"Thank you to all the courageous firemen fighting this fire back home".

Kylie was not in California at the time as she was supporting boyfriend, Travis Scott, at his Astroworld tour in Baltimore, Maryland.

The second-largest fire, the Hill Fire, also prompted evacuations after it charred around 10,000 acres in Ventura County through Thursday afternoon. God is good. I'm just praying everyone is safe, ' she continued.

Kardashian and her three children evacuated late Thursday.

"I pray that everyone is kept safe and protected from these fires".

Flames reached half-sister Kim Kardashian's estate she shares with husband Kanye West, according to TMZ.

Offering her support, Khloe Kardashian said: 'I am with Rob, Dream and True and I am up keeping watch!

"I am too nervous with these fires", which Kim retweeted with prayer emojis as she was also having a sleepless night as well.

"I can't believe this is happening!" Thank you to EVERYONE who has a hand in helping.

Celebrity website TMZ reported that the Malibu home of Caitlyn Jenner, America's best-known transgender activist, was destroyed by the flames on Friday.

Kourtney left her Calabasas home and posted an Instagram picture of suitcases in her auto as she went to stay with sister Kendall Jenner's house in Beverly Hills and joked she was raiding her pantry for food.

Cher, who said she had lived in Malibu since 1972, tweeted that the wildfire was coming close to her home, although she said she was not on the property.
