  • Ariana Grande Shades Ex Pete Davidson for Using Their Breakup to Stay 'Relevant'

Pete Davidson ain't above turning his pain into comedy, which is why he's working on some Ariana Grande-related jokes for "SNL" - even if it pisses her off - TMZ has learned.

In response, Grande subtweeted Davidson, writing, "For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh".

Ariana Grande has lashed out at Pete Davidson over the latest teaser for Saturday Night Live!

In a teaser for this week's episode with host Jonah Hill, Davidson jokingly proposed to musical guest Maggie Rogers.

She's since deleted the tweet.

You would think that with Ariana taking her social media break as well as staying far away from commenting on anything Pete related that the tweet would have just been left alone, especially considering the fan hadn't even mentioned Ariana in the post.

Not too long after, a fan retweeted the SNL's video with the joke, "tag yourself i'm maggie". "He has tried contacting her and sending her gifts in hopes that she will change her mind and take him back, but that is not going to happen", a friend of Grande's told Radar. Davidson performed at a benefit show in Los Angeles last month and joked to the crowd, "Anybody looking for a roommate?"
