- Six people were shot in Jacksonville near the Jaguars' stadium. The suspect is on the run.

The six victims — five men and one woman — ranged in age from their 20s to their 70s, Lendvay said.

Six people were shot, with three of them in critical condition, in Jacksonville, US state of Florida, local police said Sunday.

Deputies believe the shots were fired from the passenger side of a grey or silver Nissan Altima or Maxima, Lendvay said.

They also say they are looking for a suspect in a grey/silver vehicle.

He said the auto immediately drove off and that detectives were checking surveillance video in hopes of better identifying the vehicle and locating those involved. Fans who parked their vehicles in the crime scene area will be escorted by police to retrieve them.

Authorities hadnt yet determined the number of suspects or whether any shooter was inside or outside the auto, he said.

"In talking to the sheriff's department; they are going to beef up patrols".

The vehicle then fled westbound on Pippin Street. The scene of that shooting is less than 2 miles away from this scene.

According to Sputnik International, the accident took place near the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars' football stadium.
