President of the United States Donald Trump claimed in the interview with CBS that he was tough with President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

Let's look at the background: The wide ranging interview on Sunday, October 14, by correspondent Lesley Stahl on the CBS 60 Minutes program turned to President Trump's relationship with Russian Federation. I had a meeting with him.

Cui said he hopes Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping (pictured above right) are able to make progress on the issues between the two countries when they meet next month at the G-20 summit in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

When asked babout the accusation that he was leery of criticising Putin, he challenged the question.

He said not just Russian Federation that meddled in the 2016 presidential election.

"Honestly, I've been talking to ambassadors of other countries in Washington, D.C., and this is also part of their problem", Cui said. "And I think other countries". You know what he sent?

China's ambassador to the US, Cui Tiankai, raised similar doubts about the relationship between the world's two largest economic powers.

"They meddled", he said.

Also appearing on Fox, he said China has grown frustrated in trade talks because of conflicting signals from the Trump administration.

Speaking about his wife and First Lady Melania Trump's comments there were untrustworthy aides at the White House, he said: "I feel the same way".

"I don't want to pledge", he added.

Cui also raised Vice President Mike Pence's accusations that China has launched a strategy to intervene in United States domestic affairs. "Now I say they're babies", Trump said. "I mean, at some point, everybody leaves".

"The President continued", Look, let it be whatever it is.

"I saw Hillary Clinton made a really nasty statement,' Trump said". I have a good chemistry with him.

"Many people thought it made him look better because he did answer everything correctly", she claimed, albeit falsely.

Although he didn't specify who he didn't trust, the president had surprising words for Defense Secretary James Mattis, who he said was "sort of a Democrat", and hinted may not be on the job much longer.

On mocking Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's accuser Christine Blasey Ford at a MS rally, the President said: "I'm not going to get into it, because we won".

He said Putin will go to a working breakfast organized by French President Emmanuel Macron and later lay flowers at a monument to Russian soldiers in Paris.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov didn't take the bait, telling the press, as reported in TASS: "U.S. President did not come up with any direct accusations".

In August, the US imposed new sanctions against Russian Federation associated with poisoning Sergei Skripal in the UK.

Stahl sought to stop the attack, saying, "I'm going to change the subject again".
