"I never go onto the pitch with the intention of injuring another professional so I have a very clear conscience", Ramos said.

Sergio Ramos will lead Spain out at Wembley, and Enrique hopes he will be able to call upon the services of the Real Madrid stalwart for long into the future.

Spain got crashed out of the World Cup after being defeated in penalties against hosts Russian Federation.

Spain midfielder Isco has welcomed coach Luis Enrique's ban on mobile phones during team meals and has embraced the new coach's footballing ideas and team-building exercises.

"I think their game will be based on pace and pressing", he says.

Ramos spoke ahead of Spain's clash with England on Saturday.

But David de Gea allowing Cristiano Ronaldo's shot to skip off his hands was not the cause of Spain failing to break down Russian Federation before losing to the hosts on penalties at the World Cup, and neither was a penchant for texting or fried food. He has to step up to help Spain start a new era.

"I don't know what's going to happen in the future but that's a position I haven't had any doubts about", Enrique said. "I know the English fans will treat players as they deserve and I'm not anxious in the slightest".

"The national team brings us together and we share the same objective". We have the power to evolve the model, I am convinced that we will do it.

Ramos: "He is the player with the most personality on and off the field for Spain".

It's good to hear De Gea has the backing of Enrique to ensure that United's most important player doesn't feel a need to leave to make an impression in order to regain his spot. "We want it to be enjoyable for the fans".

The team will also reportedly avoid stopovers in Madrid between games, a normal procedure that allowed players to meet with family and relatives.
