Raiders have 'no interest' in trading Khalil Mack

  • It sounds like Khalil Mack is coming to the NFC North

Furthermore, the team expects Mack to play in 2018, with or without a new contract extension. The Oakland Raiders have received multiple offers that include picks and players. In April, NFL.com reported that the 2016 Defensive Player of the Year is seeking $65 million. Last season he had 10 1/2 sacks with 78 combined tackles and a forced fumble in 16 games with the Raiders.

However, with his rookie contract entering its final year, contract negotiations have been at a stand-off for some time with National Football League insiders reporting that there have been no talks between Mack's representatives and the Raiders since February.

To say the least, the Green Bay Packers may have made a huge mistake in not trading for Mack.

Akiem Hicks led the team in total pressures in 2017 from the interior of their defensive line, while their highest total among edge rushers was 36 from former first-round pick Leonard Floyd. Chicago also boasts an outstanding young secondary, highlighted by safeties Adrian Amos and Eddie Jackson; not to mention the addition of rookie Roquan Smith, the top linebacker in this year's draft. For now, though, we sit back and wait.
