After introducing the Galaxy Note 9 in NY earlier this month, South Korean smartphone maker Samsung had announced that it will launch its flagship phablet in India on August 22 and started accepting pre-orders for the device from August 11.

The Galaxy Note 9 comes with an IP68 certification making it water resistant.

The event will be broadcast live by Samsung at 12:30PM for you to tune into and see all the news as it unfolds.

Samsung launched Bixby 2.0 with the Galaxy Note 9, promising some big changes with its personal assistant.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy A6+ features a 6-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2220 pixel resolution and 18:5:9 aspect ratio. It also features a battery power of 30 minutes or 200 clicks and can recharge in just 40 seconds in its slot inside the phone. The render shows multiple color variants of the upcoming smartphone and also exhibits a design similar to the one found on a user manual leaked recently. The front camera of the Note 9 packs an 8-megapixel front camera with f/1.7 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 starts from 67,900 INR for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM/ 512GB storage variant costs 84,900 INR. The Note 9 supports up to 1TB of storage via microSD card, this is something exceptional in this smartphone. Wait for August 24 when the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be officially released in the retail market. It also comes with 8GB of RAM instead of the typical 6GB, and even though that's a small difference, these enthusiasts are willing to pay for it.

As you know, one of the greatest features of the Galaxy Note 9 has become the S Pen stylus, which has built a miniature battery and a Bluetooth module.

The Pre-orders of the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone has started in the U.S. from Friday (10th August) and it will be available on August 24th. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, 3G and 4G. The handset runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with the Samsung Experience UX on top.

While it is pricier than the iPhone X (R16,999 for 64Gb and 21,999 for the 256GB option) at a hefty R18,999, the Note 9 offers more memory (128 GB), a slightly better camera, and the option to plug in more memory.
