Blizzard confirms multiple Diablo projects in development

This is according to the associate community manager, Brand Camel. But we may have some things to show you later this year.
In a new video shared earlier today on the series'Official Facebook Page, Associate Community Manager Brand Camel confirms that multiple Diablo projects are now in the works, some releasing earlier than others. She then pivoted to unannounced Diablo projects and informed us that the "forges [at] Blizzard are burning hot", and that there are "multiple Diablo projects in the works".
Blizzard Entertainment dropped some hints about the future of its popular, long-running "Diablo" franchise on Wednesday. At the time, a reimagining of the second game seemed unlikely, as did a full-on Diablo 4. "Some of them are going to take longer than others, but we may have some things to show you later this year".
Diablo III first launched back in 2012 for the PC, before it headed over to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013. We've heard similar rumblings of a mobile Diablo title as well, which certainly could be Blizzard's next announcement - though showing a mobile game without confirming Diablo 4 wouldn't go down super well with series fans.
Stay tuned for more as Blizzard discloses more on the future of Diablo. A Diablo III port would ensure two modes of play: on-the-go singleplayer or local multiplayer, and online multiplayer that could generate engagement while promoting other Blizzard games to boot.
