Cops wound up arresting a salon worker and one of the patrons Friday night after the incident, though it's unclear which one. "Hitting them like animals", the person added.

The brawl happened at New Red Apple Nail at 1426 Nostrand Ave.in East Flatbush after a customer refused to pay either part of or all of her bill following an apparently botched eyebrow treatment. A nail salon employee was arrested after she was caught on camera repeatedly attacking a customer with a broom. Things got physical when employees blocked the women from leaving the store while waiting for police to arrive.

Huiyue Zheng, 32, was charged with assault and weapon possession. The first woman, who was able to escape, is her friend, and a third woman also being threatened with the broom was the unsatisfied customer's grandmother.

The video shows salon employees striking one woman with a broomstick until she's able to flee out the front door. The video has so far been viewed more than 720,000 times. But the salon contends that she also refused to pay for the pedicure.

According to the nail association, an employee told them Thomas refused to pay for any of the other services she received, telling CBS New York that the altercation could have easily been avoided.

Police said Zhing was taken to the hospital before being arrested because of visible injuries to her face and body, PIX 11 reports.

Christina Thomas, 21, of Brooklyn was charged with assault, menacing and harrassment. On Monday, people gathered to protest the salon and demanded it be shut down.

Empress Ak wrote on Facebook, "I am standing with the elder who was thrown acetone in her face while her granddaughter was attacked". Thomas declined medical attention, the station reported.

Police say Thomas hit an employee, who then in turn struck the customer with a broom. Police escorted workers out of the establishment for their safety, the Post reports.

"There is no respect for people in this neighborhood", Gavin Gibbs, a 49-year-old East Flatbush resident, said to the New York Daily News. One sign read "Black $$$ Matter".
