Rahul Gandhi reviews no-confidence motion debate, attacks PM Modi again

Several Opposition parties, led by the Telugu Desam Party, had moved the no-confidence motion against the Bharatiya Janata Party.
The Bharatiya Janata Party won the vote 325-126, but Modi's speech was undermined by tiresome subjects and protesting MPs.
Continuing his attack on Prime MinisterModi government, Gandhi said: "One of those people was given the Rafale contract where the gentleman benefited to the tune of Rs. 45,000 crores".
Textiles Minister Smriti Irani accused Gandhi of indulging in rhetoric and asked him back up his accusations with proof.
Earlier, the Gandhi scion had stunned the House, particularly catching the treasury benches off guard, when after a scathing attack on the government, he walked over to the Prime Minister and hugged him. "The French President (Emmanuel Macron) said that before me".
On Gandhi's allegations on the Rafale aircraft deal, he said "we must abstain from making childish statements on sensitive issues".
Taking the treasury benches by surprise and startling the PM for a moment, Rahul walked over and hugged Modi.
