  • Thomas Markle has finally broken his silence as he expressed his regret at not walking his daughter Meghan down the aisle

Meghan Markle, who shared the third carriage with her husband Prince Harry and the Earl and Countess of Wessex, wore a cream dress with a black and cream hat.

Thomas revealed that he has had "interesting conversations with Harry over the phone,", including hot topics such as Brexit and Donald Trump.

In the interview, Thomas talked about Meghan's desire for having children.

He said: "Meghan told me first and then a few times after that Harry got on the phone with Meghan, they got on the phone together, and Harry asked for her hand on the phone. That upsets me somewhat", he said.

"I realised it was a serious mistake".

Markle said he did not stage the papparazzi pictures for money but to try and change his image and improve his look.

The news of Markle's absence from the royal wedding came several days after he initially withdrew when reports surfaced that he had participated in staged photos in a bid to help his image. I sort of disagreed with that but I still like Harry. "He said, 'I like him, he's a gentleman and he protects Meghan, and I really value that'". "I can't think of a better replacement than someone like Prince Charles", he raved.

"They were disappointed", Thomas said.

Instead, he cried as he watched on television in a rented Los Angeles room as Prince Charles - who he has never spoken to - did the honours for "beautiful" Meghan.

The race went to Without Parole - ridden by Italian legend Frankie Dettori and trained by John Gosden - whose Canadian owner John Gunther said it was the best day of his life.

"I said, 'Oh, OK, Harry, OK.' And she said, 'Of course we'll have to call him H, so no one knows that we're talking about Harry'".

"It might have been a treat for him as well because he didn't have a daughter".

"I was complaining I didn't like Donald Trump". There was no real commitment for it. "That is why I'm particularly proud to be patron of a Festival that shares my beliefs that business can and must be an worldwide force for good". Harry is also "open" to the Brexit experiment.

He said he thought the couple, now known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, would probably have children soon.

He said he pulled out of attending and walking his daughter down the aisle for her second marriage because he couldn't get over what happened.

"To meet them in person is like climbing Mount Everest", Gunther told the media.
