  • Lying coward Trump Administration separates children from their parents at the border and he won't even own up to his cruelty

First lady Melania Trump has waded into the emotional controversy over policies enacted by her husband's administration that have increased the number of migrant children being separated from their parents.

As controversy rages over the separations, first lady Melania Trump, in a rare foray into policy matters, said Sunday through a spokeswoman that the USA must be a country that "governs with heart".

It came the day after his administration said that it had taken almost 2,000 children away from their parents in a six-week period ending last month, as part of a new zero tolerance policy that refers for criminal prosecution all immigrants apprehended crossing the border without authorization.

It was also possible she was backing the president's recent claim that Democrats in Congress were responsible for the situation.

"This must not be who we are as a nation", said Representative Jerrold Nadler, one of seven members of Congress from NY and New Jersey who met with five detainees inside a facility in Elizabeth, New Jersey, including three who said they had young relatives removed from their care after seeking asylum at the border.

Customs and Border Protection provided the document to CNN during a walk-through of a border processing center in McAllen, Texas, near the US-Mexico border.

Appearing on NBC's "Meet the Press" Conway said, "As a mother, as a Catholic, as somebody who's got a conscience ..." Kennedy said. "There are many conservative voices speaking out and speaking out saying this is just pure inhumanity on behalf of Donald Trump administration to try to take out their frustration on children".

Trump is expected to meet with House Republicans on Tuesday to discuss immigration legislation, including the Trump proposal to build a wall along the border with Mexico.

"Detention center employees have covered the window with paper to block our view", said New Jersey Rep. Bill Pascrell.

"This bill hardly fulfills President Trump's bold promise to fix immigration, and sure isn't a winning message for the GOP in the midterms", Hauman said.

Contrary to the president's public statements, no law requires families to necessarily be separated at the border.

"We're making progress, but we still need Republicans to join", she wrote on Twitter. He then added, "The Democrats have to change their law - that's their law".

Trump will meet with House Republicans next week to discuss the issue just days after his comments during an impromptu Fox News interview on the White House driveway almost derailed the planned House vote, according to a House GOP official who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the plans ahead of an official announcement. That led former President Barack Obama's administration to release both parent and child. "But the elites in this city, and this ties into Korea, ties into everything that took place this week, the elites, the permanent political class in this city want to manage situations to un - you know, to bad outcomes", Bannon told ABC News. But he said he wouldn't support an immigration bill unless it also blocked employers from hiring immigrants who are in the USA illegally, eliminated "sanctuary cities" and ended family-based migration.

"I'd like to say it's un-American, but it's happening right now in America".

The issue is causing a growing political storm for the Trump administration.

Or hold Melania Trump's statement against the candid acknowledgment to the New York Times by Trump senior policy adviser Stephen Miller that the approach was "a simple decision by the administration to have a zero tolerance policy for illegal entry, period".

Immigration on the southwest border has remained high since the zero-tolerance policies took effect.
