Samsung the world's largest smartphone manufacturer and sadly, the slowest software update provider, may have finally chose to introduce Android Oreo update to some of its last year's midrange devices. Now, however, a source that has been reliable many times in the past has shared what is believed to be the first image of Samsung's upcoming next-generation Galaxy Note handset. Because of this they tend to get Samsung's most premium features. There's no clarity on the date but we are expecting that the phone will be out latest by August. The Note 9 is said to be available with at least 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot. It also appears that the Note 9 could come with a dedicated Bixby button, like previous Samsung phones. Ice Universe, on Twitter, said that he/she is nearly certain now that Samsung Note 9 will not come with the in-display fingerprint sensor.
It means Samsung will settle with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the Galaxy Note 9.
Above you'll see a mockup wherein the left model is a Galaxy Note 8 straight from Samsung, left is a might-be-GN9 from Ice.
Based on recent reports, the Galaxy S8 Lite could debut on May 21 in China, but nothing is confirmed at this point.
The Note 9 is also expected to borrow the camera features from the S9 Plus. It is rumoured that Note 9 will further up the size of the phone by introducing a 6.4-inches Note.
Overall, the price of the Galaxy Note 9 would be highly likely as its predecessor. The technology behind the in-display fingerprint sensor is something major OEMs are gunning for their flagship products.
