  • Ken Jeong Stops Mid-Standup Set To Save Woman Suffering Seizure In The Audience!

Ken Jeong's medical degree is nothing to laugh at.

A representative for Jeong confirmed to EW that he and an emergency medical technician helped the woman until paramedics arrived, as first reported by TMZ.

"A woman had a medical emergency during the show".

Apparently he first thought it was a heckler causing a commotion, but the audience quickly made it clear she needed help.

The "Dr. Ken" star, who gave up his medical practice to become an actor in hits like "The Hangover", sprang into action.

"It's a wonderful story", Heather Holmberg, who was in the audience at the Stand Up Live club, tells USA Today.

"He couldn't see what was going on with the lights. It was such flawless timing: Ken just jumped from the stage to help", another audience member, Heather Holmberg, told USA Today of the incident.

According to Holmberg, the audience member was having some kind of seizure. Ken thinks its heckling, when people are asking for his help. "He realized there was an issue, and he came over". After the woman was taken to the hospital, Jeong reportedly jumped right back up on stage and continued his set. Someone was having a crisis.

While the woman's exact condition isn't known as of this morning, audience members said she was up and walking by the time paramedics arrived.

Then he returned to the stage and finished his routine.
