Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 7 Plus pre-booking started

Following their unveiling at Mobile World Congress 2018 (MWC), HMD Global has announced the latest suite of Nokia phones will land in Australia this week. Apart from online stores, these phones are also available from Nokia Shop and other offline retail stores in India. The Nokia 1 is an Android Go device, whereas the Nokia 8 Sirocco, 7 Plus, and 6 2018 edition come with Android One, which ensures faster updates.
Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphones are now available for purchase in India. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
The mid-range smartphone features a 6-inch 18:9 Full HD+ display. The phone sports a curvy design this time, unlike the previous Nokia phones, which had chamfered/ beveled edges. On the front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with display flash, and f/2.0 aperture. It also carries the IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. Powering the device is a 3,260 mAh battery that also supports Quick Charge. There is a fingerprint sensor below the rear camera with which the phone can be unlocked. Apart from the upgrade to 8.1 Oreo, it brings better battery management through the "Battery saving navigation buttons" that auto-dims the brightness whenever the smartphone is not in use. With a width of just 7.5mm, the smartphone looks stunning. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, microUSB 2.0, and rear fingerprint sensor.
The Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco come with several launch offers including additional data, complimentary accidental damage insurance, exchange offers and more. While prepaid customers will get 20GB additional data on each of the first 6 recharges of Rs 199 or Rs 349, postpaid customers can avail the additional 20GB per month on the Rs 399 or Rs 499 plan for 6months.
ICICI Bank credit & debit card holders will get 10 percent cashback on the purchase of the handset.
Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 7 Plus buyers will also get 25% instant discount on domestic hotels via MakeMyTrip.
The Nokia 7 Plus is priced at Rs. 25,999 in India, and the company is offering multiple launch offers for the phone. The handset is available in two colours- black/copper and white/copper. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. There's a microSD card slot as well for storage expansion. Nokia's device marks 12MP+13MP dual rear sensors with ZEISS optics.
