Meek Mill may be out of prison, but he still feels trapped on the inside.

The "Dreams and Nightmares" rapper told NBC Nightly News that he is still feeling a "culture shock" now that he is finally out of prison.

In an opinion earlier this month, Judge Genece Brinkley, who sent Mill to prison for the probation violations, defended herself against accusations by the defence that she was waging a vendetta against the rapper. I'm 30 now. And me, I pray.

The "Litty" rapper spent five months behind bars before being granted his released by the Philadelphia Supreme Court on Tuesday (24th April), garnered a huge amount of support on social media.

In his first interview since his incarceration he told Page Six, "I am still dazed, I'm in a daze, this is great, and unbelievable". Upon release from prison, Meek Mill was taken courtside to the Philadelphia 76ers playoff game where he was greeted warmly by the team and the city of Philadelphia as a whole.

Ordering Mill out on bail, the state's Supreme Court cited "credibility issues" over a police officer who was a witness. I didn't feel free since I caught this case at the age of 19'.

Following his experience, Williams said, "I have a lot of important people depending on me, I'm not just talking about those public officials". Meek Mill tweeted that he plans to work with his legal team to "overturn this unwarranted conviction" and said he looks forward to reuniting with his family and resuming his musical career. It also brought to light the need for criminal justice reform. "I'm talking about the men that's depending on me (that are) going through the same think I'm going through".

The rapper wore a Joel Embiid jersey and sat courtside during the game. He was also asked to ring the ceremonial Liberty Bell before the game's tipoff.
