  • Ronda Rousey wows in WWE WrestleMania debut

Before Sunday night, Rousey avoided the ring after suffering a shocking 48-second loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December 2016.

After Rousey's initial appearance at the Royal Rumble, the former UFC bantamweight champion began her feud with McMahon and her husband at February's Elimination Chamber event where she slammed Triple H through a table, setting the stage for Sunday's contest.

And that's exactly what John Cena did; he spent time during the Kickoff Show and a good chunk of the main card, sitting on the floor and watching with the rest of the fans, before running backstage to prepare for his match.

The crowd went insane as Rousey finally entered the ring, and she looked incredible with some huge suplexes and a vicious clothesline.

John Cena got his wish: The Deadman is back.

Just as the match looked to be ending with both Triple H and McMahon in submissions, Angle was thrown into Rousey, and then tossed out the ring.

Rousey signed with WWE in February after a decorated career in mixed martial arts that saw her become perhaps the most famous UFC star in history. Angle put Stephanie in the Ankle Lock, Triple H hit Angle with the Pedigree, and then Rousey reversed a powerbomb from Triple H into an armbar.

Rousey delivered an excellent performance on her first outing in WWE and drew strong reactions throughout. He insulted Cena and the WWE fans and started singing.
